Sign Up • $40A 3 hour container for collective meditative movement, from outer to inner. The structure for Terrain moves from explicit to implicit beginning with a run or hike, meeting on the mat for a grounding slow flow yoga practice and closing with a restorative soundbath. This offering is meant as a meeting point for anyone looking to explore movement and sound as a portal to embodiment. No prior experience of any kind necessary. Both the hike and run are no drop/all pace accessible. Come as you are. Let’s move together through terrain, through the body and into spacious rest.
Schedule:
3pm Check in, set up yoga space at the studio
3:15pm Depart for run/hike
4:15pm Regroup at the studio
4:30pm Slow Flow and Soundbath
5:30pm Integrate/Socialize
About Jenessia Nájera-Navarro
Jenessia is an LA native yoga teacher and sound practitioner, with a background in endurance running. Her offerings include a range of styles and practices including guided meditation, crystal sound baths, restorative yoga and more heat building Hatha and vinyasa flow. Drawing inspiration from many schools of thought, she meshes traditional philosophy and theory with embodied exploration. She believes in yoga as a tool for compassionate self inquiry—an opportunity to excavate our internal landscape and our physical bodies and come away with new information and insight. Jenessia is certified in Katonah Yoga® and enjoys sharing the rich material that has transformed not only her yoga practice but the way she moves through the world.
